Read all of this leaflet carefully because it contains important information for you.
NPL CREATINE HCL is available without a doctor’s prescription. It is a water-soluble form of creatine that
enhances muscle power and strength. Nevertheless, you still need to use NPL CREATINE HCL carefully to obtain
the best results from it.

1. What NPL CREATINE HCL is and what it is used for:
NPL CREATINE HCL helps to:
• Support muscle strength.
2. What you need to know before you use NPL CREATINE HCL:
A varied diet is the most effective way to achieve good nutrition, health, body composition as well as mental and
physical performance.
Do not use NPL CREATINE HCL:
If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of NPL
CREATINE HCL (listed in section 6).

• If you are currently taking any other medicines.
• If you suffer from bipolar.
• If you suffer from Parkinson disease.
• If you suffer from kidney dysfunction or any other medical condition.
• If you suffer from bleeding disorders
• Discontinue using at least two weeks before elective surgical procedures.
Children and adolescents:
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to using NPL CREATINE HCL. Not recommended for individuals below the
age of 18 years.
Other medicines and NPL CREATINE HCL:
Always tell your healthcare provider if you are taking any other medicine. This includes complementary or
traditional medicines.
NPL CREATINE HCL can interact with the following medicines:
No known interactions with any other medications.
NPL CREATINE HCL with food and drink:
No interaction with food or drink (see section 3).
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
Avoid use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you think you might be pregnant or are planning to have a baby,
please consult your health care provider for advice before taking NPL CREATINE HCL.
Driving and using machinery:
Patients should exercise caution before driving or using machinery until they are reasonable certain that NPL
CREATINE HCL does not adversely affect their performance.
3. How to use NPL CREATINE HCL:
Do not share medicines with any other person. Always use NPL CREATINE HCL exactly as described in this
leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults 18 years and older:
Take 4 capsules daily with water 30 minutes before or after a workout. On non-training days take 4 capsules in the
morning, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Take with enough
water.
If you take more NPL CREATINE HCL than you should:
In the event of an overdosage, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If neither is available, contact the nearest
hospital or poison centre. Take this leaflet and the remaining capsules with you so the doctor will know what you
have taken.
If you forget to take NPL CREATINE HCL:
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Take the dose as soon as you remember and then
continue as prescribed.
4. Possible side effects:
NPL CREATINE HCL can have side effects, rare adverse effects can include:
• Interstitial nephritis,
• Renal insufficiency,

• Rhabdomyolysis,
• Venous thrombosis.
Not all side effects reported for NPL CREATINE HCL are included in this leaflet. Should your general health
worsen of if you experience any untoward effects while taking NPL CREATINE HCL, please consult your
healthcare provider for advice.
If any of the following happens, stop taking NPL CREATINE HCL and tell your doctor immediately or go to
the casualty department at your nearest hospital:
• Swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, face, lips, and mouth or throat, which may cause difficulty in swallowing or
breathing.
• Rash or itching.
• Fainting.
These are all very serious side effects. If you have them, you may have had a serious allergic reaction to
NPL CREATINE HCL. You may need urgent medical attention or hospitalization.
Tell your doctor if you notice any of the following:
• Dehydration,
• Diarrhoea,
• Gastrointestinal upset,
• Muscle cramps,
• Water retention,
• Nausea,
• Vomiting,
• Heartburn.
• Burning aftertaste
• Dyspepsia
If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

If you get side effects, inform your doctor or pharmacist. You can also report side effects to SAHPRA via the “6.04

5. How to store NPL CREATINE HCL:
• Store between 15 – 25ºC in a dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.
• Store in the original container until required for use.
• Store all medicines out of the reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label.
Return all unused medicines to your pharmacist.
• Do not dispose of unused medicines in drains or sewerage systems (e.g. toilets).

Creatine hydrochloride
750 mg
Piper nigrum (Black pepper)fruit, 5 mg of a 4:1 extract
20 mg
The other ingredients are gelatine, glycerine, purified water. Sugar free.
What NPL CREATINE HCL looks like and contents of the pack:
White capsules are packaged in a HDPE black container. The container is sealed with an induction seal and lid.
